Oblation Table

The Oblation Table, also known as the Prothesis or Proskomedia table, holds a central role in Orthodox Christian worship, situated within the sanctuary area of the church. It is a small, typically rectangular table located on the north side of the altar, used by the priest for the preparation of the bread and wine before the Divine Liturgy.
